Over the next few years Oliver mounted many different exhibitions and worked with some great illustrators from around the world, including Rob Ryan, Yuko Shimizu, Shaun Tan, Adrian Johnson, Sam Weber and more.

Having known Oliver since our time at Falmouth University, Oliver invited me (Matt Kevan) to get involved. We joined forces in 2011 and decided to move the gallery entirely online. After months of hard work, fun and frustration we finally finished Illustrators.co, launching with just 12 artists early the next year.

We've grown steadily since and now feature work from around 40 artists. In May 2013 we held 'Lineup' at The Mall Galleries in central London - our first physical exhibition. Running for a week, lineup included work from our Illustrators.co artists, students from the University of West England, industry veterans such as Tony Meeuwissen and Clifford Richards and cutting edge street artists.

What makes us special?

Illustrators.co isn't a normal online shop. When you buy an artwork with us, you are purchasing directly from the artist who created it – they receive your order and send it out to you. This means that you can be assured your artwork has been made with love, and will be of the highest quality.

Illustrators.co isn't like a normal gallery either: our mission is to help our artists make a living from their work so we only take a small commission from each sale. By buying with us you're supporting a whole range of talented artists, from graduates at the start of their career to illustration legends.
