Getting started
We've carefully curated what we believe to be the best of contemporary illustration available today, which you can access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We hope that you find using our website quick and convenient.
Your privacy and security is extremely important to us, so we will never share your information with third parties without your consent and transactions are protected by industry-standard encryption and secure servers. Please see our Privacy Policy for more information on how we handle your personal data.
These features help to make your shopping experience easier:
Home page link: You can get back to the home page at any time by clicking The Illustration Gallery logo at the top right of every page.
Navigation bar: The names on the navigation bar on the top left of every page correspond to the different sections of the site. Clicking on one of the names will take you to that section.
Search box: The search box is always at the top of the page. You can search by artist or exhibition name, keywords etc.
Your cart: To see the items in your shopping cart, click the 'Your cart' link in the navigation bar. You will then be able to edit quantities or remove items if desired.
Stock levels
We understand it's frustrating to see that the artwork you want to buy is out of stock, or that we currently have no artwork available for an artist or exhibition.
We do this because we believe that you'll want to know that we normally stock them, in case you want to buy one at a later date when we have more. In some instances you can request to be notified when this is the case.
Payment options
We offer various ways for you to pay for your order, including: Visa, Mastercard, Solo, Delta, PayPal and Google checkout.
Placing your order
Once you've found the artworks you wish to purchase and have added them to your shopping cart, you can begin the checkout process by clicking the 'Your cart' link in the navigation bar at the top of the screen.
You can go straight to checkout to pay for your artwork and arrange delivery. You can also opt to register with us so that you can retrieve your details and chosen delivery address(es). This doesn't include your payment card details. You'll be asked to choose a password to access your account.
If you've already registered with The Illustration Gallery, simply enter your username and password.
Once you have entered your delivery address and payment details, click 'Review order' to make sure your details are correct. If so, click 'Submit Order'. If not, click 'Back' to make amendments. You will be sent a confirmation email with the details of your order shortly after we have received it.
Your confirmation email will have the subject line 'Thank you for shopping at The Illustration Gallery', and will contain details of when your artwork will be delivered.
If you haven't received a confirmation email within 24 hours of placing an order, or your products haven't been delivered within the timescale stated in the email, please contact us at hello@theillustrationgallery.com.
Changing your account information
If you wish to change or update your online account information (including your email address, password or communication preferences) simply click on `Your account` in the top menu bar. If you are not already logged in, enter your username and password and click the 'Edit my account link'. You will then be able to change the details that you originally gave.
If you would like to subscribe or unsubscribe from our mailing list, then go into 'Your account' and click on the 'Your newsletter subscriptions' link.

Complaints process for shopping online
If you're not satisfied with the level of service you receive online, please do let us know by contacting us as above.
