Graham Carter has spent the last 15 years working as a freelance illustrator, and is considered one of the industry leaders after a string of successful campaigns with Bupa, Orange, Waterstones, Monster.co.uk, and editorial illustrations for The Guardian and The Sunday Times.

Over the last 5 years Graham has moved on from his editorial illustration style to create a unique collection of limited edition prints, and since first exhibiting at the Brighton Art Fair in 2006 Graham has become one of the most prolific and collected printmakers in the UK.  It was this print style that enticed American based company Blu-Q to commission art work for a range of products which have quickly become best sellers since their launch in Spring 2012.

Graham has held solo exhibitions with Ink_d Gallery, Brighton, The Coningsby Gallery in London, and Rostra & Rooksmore, Bath, which all opened to international critical acclaim. Over the past 5 years Graham has also been part of many existing exhibitions across the country and his prints can be found in galleries across the globe including London, New York and Los Angeles, and UK galleries.

In 2007 Graham co-founded the award winning Show Below, an annual exhibition for the Brighton Fringe Festival, showcasing some of the UK’s most exciting illustrators, printmakers and photographers. In 2007 Graham was awarded the Brighton Fringe Festival Visual Arts prize for ‘Serendipity’ and in 2008 Show Below won second best show in the entire festival.

Graham’s recent solo show ‘Me, Marionette’ at Ink_d Gallery during the May 2012 Fringe Festival proved to be his most ambitious and successful show to date. ‘Me, Marionette’ featured a range of intricate 3D screen printed and hand painted original pieces alongside an entire new collection of limited edition silk screen prints, etched Perspex mirror pieces and a number of original drawings and paintings not to mention Graham’s first animation in collaboration with Ticktockrobot, and a 10 foot Yeti puppet called Sid.

Graham currently lives in Seaford with his wife Alice, baby son Noah and Mr Bojangles the cat.
