Influenced by her early years on the coast, she explores the intricacy and complexity of nature through both contemporary and traditional themes, in turn celebrating life through rich colours and swirling shapes.

Inspired by regular visits to local galleries such as the Tate, where her work would eventually display, she went on to study at Falmouth College of Arts. Having since graduated from Central Saint Martins, Katiemo currently lives and works in London.
