Sharon is based in Brighton, UK, however is originally from Chicago, in the USA. She obtained her BA in Illustration from Middlesex in London in 2003. She has participated in the Artists Open Houses as part of the Brighton Festival, and has had work on exhibit at a number of illustration award exhibitions, including the 3x3 Student Illustration Awards in New York, and the Association of Illustration Images exhibitions in years 2003, 2004, 2006, 2008 and 2010.
Sharon was featured in Taschen's "Illustration Now" in 2009, and was featured in Taschen's "100 Best Illustrators - a selection of today's most successful and important illustrators from around the globe", curated by Steven Heller, released in October 2013.
She does a lot of personal work too, which is mainly what is available for purchase here. Her digital portraits are somewhat inspired by the lowbrow pop surrealist style of various American artists, and is always finding new inspirations.
